The RF-Latex Test is a rapid agglutination test based on a modification of the Singer technique for the direct detection and semiquantification in slide of rheumatoid factors (RF) present in serum. The determination is made by assaying a suspension of latex particles coated with human gamma globulin against problem sera. The presence or absence of visible agglutination is indicative of the presence or absence of RF in the tested samples.
