STEL5 Diff Lysing Solution is used in the STEL5 Automatic Hematology Analyzer for the count and differentiation of leukocytes and for hemoglobin determination. During lysis, the cell membrane breaks down, releasing hemoglobin. The liberated hemoglobin combines with the lysing solution to form a chromogenic compound, and its concentration is determined by the colorimetric method.
